Meet Peter Wyatt

Peter Wyatt
Peter Wyatt is a financial aid expert with nearly two decades of experience in higher education financial aid and consulting. Since 2005, he has worked in various financial aid roles, with a primary focus on helping families maximize financial aid eligibility and navigate complex college funding decisions.
Since 2007, he has worked directly for top colleges and universities, developing deep expertise in FAFSA and CSS Profile applications, need analysis, financial aid appeals, and institutional financial aid policies.
Before founding Wyatt College Funding, Peter served as Senior Associate Director of Financial Aid at Johns Hopkins University, where he led a team overseeing financial aid application review, student advising, and compliance with institutional policies.
Prior to that, he held financial aid positions at MIT, Wellesley College, and Oberlin College, where he worked closely with students and families to help them navigate the financial aid process and maximize available funding. He has also served as a financial aid consultant for a range of private and public institutions, advising on policy improvements and process optimization.
Now, Peter applies his institutional expertise to help families secure the best possible financial aid packages while avoiding costly mistakes. Whether navigating CSS Profile complexities, filing an appeal, or comparing college costs, Peter provides clear, strategic guidance to ensure families make informed decisions about funding their education.
